Day 18 was a rest day in Jasper. I didn’t do much apart from eat and rest.

Day 19 started off with a hitch to the Miette trailhead since I didn’t want to walk 20km along the highway. It took about 20 minutes to get a ride and it was a French couple on holiday who picked me up. The trail started off on a dirt road before eventually becoming a single track.

The track was quite muddy, but a horse riding club had been through and removed the blow downs, which was great. Eventually it came out into some boggy meadows.

The campsite was lovely near a lake and there were a bunch of us there, which was good fun.
