The day started off with an easy pass, Miette.

It was quite boggy at the pass and the trail often disappeared. It eventually became easier to follow and headed up to Grant pass.

Then it was down through some forest and eventually through a burn zone.

Then it was along the Moose river, as well as in it since we crossed it multiple times.

5 of us from Miette lake made it to the Steppe Creek campsite. Another GDTer was already there too, although she staid in her tent mostly. We had a campfire until a downpour sent us all scurrying for our tents.
